As an update to the news items published on 5 November 2021 and 24 February 2022, CTPA is pleased to inform members that it has officially joined the EcoBeauty Score Consortium as a General Associate Member.
The purpose of the Consortium is to develop an environmental impact scoring system designed specifically for cosmetic products; to allow for increased transparency with regards to the environmental impacts of personal care products and help consumers make informed decisions when purchasing.
The consortium is working alongside sustainability consultancy, Quantis, to design a scoring system based on full life cycle assessments.
As a General Associate member, CTPA will attend quarterly meetings and can contribute in writing at any time.
