On 10 July, the UK Government published two guidance documents:
- guidance on how to import goods from the EU from 1 January 2021; and
- guidance on how to move goods in/out/through Northern Ireland from 1 January 2021.
CTPA encourages companies to take action now and prepare for moving goods from the EU as of the end of the Brexit transition period. Changes to customs procedures and checks will happen independent of the outcome of the negotiations. CTPA is also working to update its Brexit advice page, compile detailed advice and arrange a number of resources based on the latest developments.
