Changes to European Cosmetic Laws Replacing the existing EC Cosmetics Directive (76/768/EEC) from July 2013, the new Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 aims to streamline and modernise the legislation in place for cosmetics and personal care products across Europe.  The CTPA is working closely with Colipa, the European cosmetic trade association to develop industry guidance on implementation of the new EC Cosmetics Regulation.
